Dear Regal suppliers, contractors, visitors and guests:
Given the recent evolution of the spread of Coronavirus we wanted to update all Regal Suppliers, Contractors, Visitors and Guests. This notification replaces in its entirety our initial notification dated March 4, 2020.
Until further notice, visitor access at all Regal facilities is limited to critical operational support only. Critical support includes emergency service support, maintenance, janitorial support, deliveries, shipments, and governmental requirements. All other visits (including, without limitation, customer and supplier visits) are discouraged and require the prior approval of the Regal site leader or Business Unit VP, GM or VP of Operations. As a general rule, we recommend managing meetings in a remote manner, using conference call or Skype whenever possible.
As a result of these new restrictions, all planned visits that do not constitute critical support must be reconfirmed and you must communicate with your Regal contact prior to planning any visit to a Regal site that does not constitute critical support. Please work with your Regal representative for site-specific requirements and to ask any questions you have regarding this notification. Note that some of our facilities will have more stringent visitor restrictions or requirements in place depending on local developments and/or local government requirements or recommendations. This may include required screenings and/or mask use, and some of these facilities may even restrict non-employee access entirely.
Visitors providing critical operational support and other visitors who receive prior approval in accordance with this notification (“Authorized Visitors”) must not travel for Regal business purposes to, from, or through China, Japan, Italy, Iran, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea and the Philippines (the “Restricted Countries”) until further notice. All Authorized Visitors who have traveled to, from or through the Restricted Countries will not be allowed to enter a Regal facility for 15 days after they return from a Restricted Country, and should promptly notify their Regal reference person to postpone their visit and/or arrange for alternative coverage.
Authorized Visitors responsible for deliveries to and shipments from Regal facilities should complete their deliveries and shipments without accessing the Regal facility wherever possible. If the foregoing is not possible (e.g., due to facility configuration), then the Authorized Visitor should limit their time in the facility to the greatest extent possible, and will be subject to monitoring by Regal associates.
Additional restrictions will be communicated based on developments. You may also be receiving additional communications from specific Regal business segments. Those communications may contain even more restrictive directives, which must be followed.
Note that all suppliers and contractors are required to ensure that their subcontractors are following the restrictions set forth in this notification (and any more restrictive directives issued by site or segment leaders).
We thank you for your review and attention.
Rick Zajchowski, Vice President Strategic Sourcing and Logistics
