A comprehensive knowledge of motors will help you diagnose issues and failures faster and more accurately, select the correct replacement motor the first time, and install the replacement motor to not only operate properly but provide years of safe and reliable operation. To help you gain this valuable knowledge, we provide over 700 in-class training events annually in the US, Mexico and Canada. These classes are provided by motor professionals with a combined experience of over 300 years in the motor and HVAC industries. We also provide our training materials and videos for free so you can self learn at your pace on your time. We created Motor Mastery University Training as our commitment to providing you with the knowledge, tools and resources to get the job done and become a true industry pro.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Motor Mastery University classes are NATE recognized. All NATE certified technicians will receive a 1-hour credit for each class hour toward recertification in all of the forced air disciplines in which currently are certified.</p>

ECM Training

Electronically Commutated Motors (ECMs) are found in outdoor fan and indoor blower applications in residential and light commercial HVAC systems. These direct drive fractional horsepower (FHP) motors include constant torque, constant speed and constant airflow. They are often referred to as variable speed motors.

Induction Motor Training

Induction motors include shaded pole, permanent split capacitor (PSC), split phase and three phase. These motors are built in fractional horsepower (FHP) ratings for use in residential and light commercial HVAC, and integral horsepower (IHP) ratings for use in commercial and industrial applications and capacitors.
