Environmental Health and Safety

Introduction

Our success could not be achieved without a commitment to safety, the environment, and respect for each person that enters our facility. Regal’s motto is ZERO HARM and the attached policy is a tool to help contractors/suppliers understand and comply with Regal's Environmental, Health and Safety rules, thereby achieving that goal.

Additional information should be obtained regarding specific procedures or requirements through your Regal Project Manager. This policy applies to all contractors and/or subcontractors and/or suppliers performing work on property owned, leased or under direct control by Regal.

Each contractor has primary responsibility for the safety and health of all members of its workforce and is responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local OSHA and EPA standards, regulations, and other applicable governmental regulations. Construction contractors must adhere to 29 CFR 1926 for construction, in addition to the general industry standards found in 29 CFR 1910.
A current Contractor Certification Statement and Certificate of Insurance must be on file with the site prior to the commencement of any work activities.  (Updated annually)
It is Regal’s policy to:
 provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for Regal employees, contractors, suppliers and visitors;
 protect the environment and neighboring community from adverse impact from Regal operations;
 comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety (EHS) laws and regulations.

Contractors will follow the Regal EHS Guide and perform activities in a manner that complies with all EHS regulations, Regal as well as any federal, state, and local OSHA and EPA standards, regulations, and other applicable governmental regulations.  Failure to do so can result in termination of the contract and could result in legal claims where injury, damages, or liabilities result.  This Certification Statement will be maintained onsite by the site. It is the contractor's, supplier's and/or subcontractor’s sole responsibility to assure that their employees have been trained and meet all safety and health of contract personnel and is responsible for compliance with all its federal, state, and local OSHA and EPA standards, regulations, and other applicable governmental regulations. Construction contractors must adhere to 29 CFR 1926 for construction, in addition to the general industry standards found in 29 CFR 1910.

Contractors, suppliers and/or subcontractors must certify that they have done all the necessary risk assessments and safety analysis to assure that all required regulations are complied with by their workforce.

Note: The issuance of requested documents shall not be interpreted as Regal assuming any responsibility and/or liability for the contractor, supplier and/or subcontractor’s work or regulatory requirements.
