Beloit, originally named Beloit Tool, started
manufacturing cutting tools in a roller rink
in Beloit, Wisconsin in 1955. |

company was still known as Beloit Tool Corporation
when it moved to a new plant on Rockton Road
near South Beloit, Illinois in 1961, it was
renamed in 1969. |

corporate headquarters was relocated to downtown
Beloit, Wisconsin in 1991. |
