| REGAL-BELOIT ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER DIVIDEND |
| (Beloit, WI): Henry W. Knueppel, Chief Executive Officer of Regal Beloit Corporation (NYSE:RBC), announced that the Board of Directors, at their regular quarterly meeting held on Friday, January 27, 2006, declared a dividend of $.13 per share payable on April 17, 2006, to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2006. In making this announcement, Mr. Knueppel commented, "This dividend represents the 183rd consecutive dividend declared by the Company." |
